Thought so. My problem is my other males that have a better spread are like, half of her size. xD

I have another male, though, that I would love but I bet he's pushing it too. Kinda sucks when the majority ofl the market (when not buying pet store) is excessive branching. >.<

It wouldn't let your scroll to the right within the message box?

Would this male be okay, or is he pushing it?

Does this girl look like she has excessive branching to you?

Oh good. I left them uncarded last night. I had to go to sleep if I wanted to even get close to waking up in the morning for my exam. x.x

I'm sorry but I have another question. When I had them carded, my male sort of quit moving and just floated at the top. I thought he died. I was so scared so I reached my finger in and he just let me touch him. His color was fading and everything. So, not sure how to explain where I got this idea, but I removed the paper. Now that he can see her, he's acting normal.

Is this sulking attitude, after a failed spawn, normal? That's one thing I've never read about. Should I be worried?

Why are my betta so weird? T.T

Okay whew. Yay!!! Reading and doing are two totally completely different things. I'm trying to stay on task with everything I've read, but I think I started freaking out when she dazed herself. She reaaaally didn't want to do anything after that. I don't blame her. xD

Awesome. So I guess I'll try again in a couple of days then. Thanks for the advice and stuff. ^^'

And I forgot to answer your question. Yes, she had plenty of hiding spots. She ran into the glass when she was getting to one.

I was pretty sure she was barred. She's so light though, so it's hard to see. Everything was going good until she ran into the tank side. Then I got worried and took her out. She's missing a chunk out of her anal fin and the very tip of her dorsal is nipped away as well. -sigh-

I just got worried when she ran into the glass. She quit moving so I took her out. The male didn't go and attack her. He just kinda looked her over until she started moving again, but still.

I'm carding them right now. When I remove the paper, she swims over to greet him instead of acting scared like after the face to face. He did his little dance, but I shut them off again. I just don't feel like trying again tonight would be good at all.

Do you think a couple of days will be okay, or should I wait for her fins to completely heal?
