Awww thanks :) I really hope it works (the antibiotic) for them too, otherwise I am running out of ideas, will have to go see the vet again if it doesn't, try something else if there is anything...... these guys are being rather expensive to keep lately......two vet bills in one week both for the fishies.........so worth it though, can't let them down. How is Cherche today?

You're welcome. They must be beauties, the poor babies, I hope that antibiotic works for him, and that other one. The poor thing... I hope they both make good recoveries. *Internet hugs.*

Thank-you, One of my boys had fin rot and velvet when I bought him, he was sort of a rescue but I also love his Colour (he is a halfmoon double tail gold dragon). Poor boy has been treated with so many different meds but nothing seems to work, he has had fin rot the whole 3 months that I've owned him and he hasn't got much caudal left :( Saw a vet about him last week and am giving the antibiotic he recommended a go really hope it helps him. Also treating another betta rescue with it because he has had it on and off since I got him. I think he might have a permanently weakened immune system.

Your set-up looks amazing! A shame about that poisoning issue. D8) At least they're all better now! ^.^

Yeah, thank you. They are getting worse, but the more clamped than torn. And that's good, I'm glad you're are doing well. And those poor too that have finrot. D:) I'll go take a look. ^.^

Cherche may require medication if he does not improve. Are his fins still getting worse? If so don't leave it too late to treat him, once fin rot reaches the body survival rates decrease dramatically so we don't want that to happen. Most of my fishies are doing well..........18 of the bettas are happy and healthy in the main barrack tanks. The other two are being treated with antibiotics for extremely persistent fin rot. If you would like to see my tanks go the the betta pictures section and look at the thread "New tank, check out my setup."

That is great news about Aquasia's fins! Sometimes some extra TLC is all that is needed. You must be doing good job :) Hope you and all of your other finned friends are well.
