Oh, no! I've been attempting to condition them so they get used to each other; clear plastic see through one gallon QT tanks so they can all see each other. There was quite a bit of flaring from my EE girls for a day but they calmed down. One of the red dragons flared at the other red dragon! But I only saw it once. Two of them seem dead set on trying to attack ME of all things through the front of the tanks!! Lol, better me than each other, I guess. I sometimes see them trying to "get at" each other through the glass but there's no more flaring and it doesn't last long. I hope that's a good sign!
I have one back up tank if one doesn't work out and if I end up having to, I can move my blind male, divide the 5 gallon and divide the ten into four parts. I hope I don't have to do that, though!!
A twenty? Oh boy, now you can buy 10 more to put in the twenty with the others! LOL! Only if they get along though. I just took a few out for pictures from two 20 gallon sororities with a hundred or so in each. Their fins all look good and no fighting to speak of. I bet if I mixed the two together it would be a fin fest. I can just see the scales flying!
I am releasing my six females (four from you and two other EE girls from Mo) into the ten gallon tomorrow! I'm planning on upgrading to a twenty gallon but fingers crossed that they all get along well! They are still doing good and seem to be very healthy!!!
I really like the spots on the top of the first girl - they kind of look like koi markings. I really hope they stay there. And the second girl has such bright colors! It was amazing to me because I took those pictures the same day I got them in the mail - the first time I received females in the mail, they were pale and had very little color.
And I took that picture of the purple female on my phone because I just didn't really feel like lugging out my camera :p so hopefully today I can get some pictures on my actual camera. Idk, I'll see what I can do. I will probably remove the silk plant in her QT tank to get some better lighting. My camera takes really fast photos if the lighting is adequate.
I thought I sent a White Snow Dragon but it looks like it colored up. The top two are Red Dragons and tghe third one is a Fire Dragon. The Fire Dragon females don't show the thicker scaling of the others or their male counterparts. It will be extremely hard to get a good pictutre of the Purple girl that actually shows her dark Purple coloring. I know, I've been trying for 4 years. I have a halogen light above and to the side of their photo chamber now and that seems to be the best light source and angle for me so far.
Thank you :) I'll probably do express shipping (I'm assuming that price is for priority). I will have to wait a while more because it is supposed to snow here the next two days and I'm not sure if its going to warm up much in a week or so. I am hoping you'll still have a purple female left. They are pretty! (And so are the dragon girls!)
I have a few of the Purple girls still. They are between 5 and 6 months old. $25 would do it. That's with shipping included. I get $10 just for the Purple females on Aquabid but I give forum members discounts.
Ooh, how many purple females do you have left? How much would you charge for 3 dragon girls (a red, fire, & snow) and a purple female including shipping? And what age are they?
