I actually have Photoshop on my computer already. Is it alright with you if I make a banner like yours? (although I'm sure mine wouldn't be nearly as good)

I used Photoshop to make the banner. But you don't need that expensive program to do it, there are a number of free programs out there that can do similar stuff.
