I know what you mean! I spent 40 dollars on a new tank and joined this site to find out how to move my betta to his new tank... since then, I've spend over $200 on top of that!
I got a Hydor Theo 25watt.. Not many people here recommend any kind of heater that isn't adjustable, so of course, I made sure to get an adjustable. The Hydor and Elite heaters seem to be the favorites here. It hasn't finished heating the water yet, but so far it seems to be doing a mighty good job :) My little guy doesn't seem to be phased by it, either.. Just curious as to why there are new things in his tank.

I just got one of my heaters today. I decided to put it in my new fishes tank, since I haven't had him a week yet and my other fish has been at room temp for almost a year.. His heater should be here sometime this week. That might tell you how new I am to this site, haha! I've learned so much only being on here for a couple of weeks. I'm glad he's doing better! I'll check out your new pics :)

Cool! Sounds like they are pretty :)

Kabuki is beefing up a tad bit - but he's being overly active so it seems he is just exercising it all off lol

That is Rebel.. he was an added bonus the breeder sent me when I purchased his brother, Ranger. I've fallen a bit hard for Rebel lol :)

Yes, hopefully! Warm clean water almost always does the trick! I'd sleep on it and check on him in the morning. I would love to know how he is doing tomorrow! Unfortunately sometimes our little finned friends are just weird and like to freak us out, haha :p

Thanks! He is doing well.. about to go into a 10 gallon solo for a week to beef up before breeding.

Keep trying.. you don't need a whole lot of the silicone luckily. Make sure to leave it drying 24hrs before placing what you make into the tank.
You could possibly get a small drinking glass or cup and silicone the glass rocks/pebbles to that.. and any open spaces, or a spot or two you're not happy with you can glue a silk flower on to cover it :)

Can also buy glass/ceramic decorations that is used as house decorations/candle holders and decorate them too.

Well I hope you find the man of your dreams thursday then! (man as in fishy) lol
I dont have that much patience. Which is why I have started ordering them on aquabid. I have to own it right away, even if it takes over a week to get here, i know its mine! The worst part of ordering though is when they arrive in town and are out for delivery...but the mail runs late. I normally get my mail at 12:30 and today it didnt come till nearly 4. I was dying inside! haha I ended up being really late for class because I wanted to make sure my fishies arrived safe and sound haha

Haha yes, got some new ones, I was actually about to post a thread on all the new boys and girls once I get some decent pics of the pk's that just came in today. And don't be shocked when I have another 4-6 added to this number in a week or so haha
