Please take a look at this guy, he looks so bad I actually gasped, I don't what to suggest medication wise, I think he might need something strong. The post is called:New bulge on betta fish fin, what to use? Fin rot/melting + darker colors/browning.

Hi LBF, another case I am stumped on I have never seen anything like it, little black dots looks like white spot but black. I initially thought it was colouring, until the last pic posted today that you can see the raised dots, just thought perhaps you could take a look. In the diseases called Tail is falling apart, raised scales, please help

Thanks for taking a look and giving advise, hopefully the little guy will make a full recovery. When you have been loitering around the forum as long as me you get to know the people who give good advise. And this one went above my experience.

Thanks! I'd seen the title of that thread, but I saw a bunch of replies so I didn't go read the thread itself. (Time constraints!) And yes, we contact one another all the time to ask for help. Sometimes, someone may have had experience with the same (or similar) issue. Sometimes, someone knows more about specific treatments or meds, etc. The important thing is that the fish gets helped (and hopefully cured)! (In fact, I asked someone to look at a thread yesterday. It sounded like the fish had the same symptoms that she'd dealt with recently in her sorority.)

I know you are really knowledgeable and this person is really trying for this little guy, it goes above what I can advise being in a different country, perhaps you could take a look. I cant link the actual thread, but it is called, Walmart rescue: Did I help him or hurt him? and it is in the diseases section. Sorry, I don't know if I should be doing this, but I feel bad that I cant really help, and unless a guru is about it might get missed.
