Hi Kev. Haha, I'm not sure how one becomes a super moderator myself. I was asked if I wanted the job. I imagine being respectful to others and not getting into fights is the best way to achieve your goal. :)
Thanks, Kev. It's ironic: that's the only picture I have of that fish, compared to dozens of my others. He's so shy and reclusive, I'll probably never get another shot of him, either.
Thanks, Kevron. I'm sure it will be a valuable addition. Here's the thread to post it on.

Silly system won't let me post URLs, even to their own sites. You'll have to add http:\\www.
Thank-you but I really do not deserve ANY compliments when it comes to betta care. Cowboy (named by my GFs daughter) passed away about a week ago... The first betta I've ever taken care of... I brought home some new plants from a lfs and he suddenly got sick, dropsy from what I gathered online... So I've joined this forum due to the loss of my #1 buddy so I can learn all I can so that when I am ready to adopt another I can give them the best care I possibly can. Thanks again tho!
It's nice to meet a new member and novice keeper who has taken the trouble to read the stickies and advice threads, and who has learned enough to care for his fish and even cycle the tank all on his own. That is so intelligent and self-reliant.
A Betta with red fins and a black or dark body is sometimes called a "devil." That's a beautiful VT-devil you have there.
