I'm extremely paranoid about my heaters going out (it's happened many times), so I like to know what the temperature is whenever I look in the tank. I know some people tuck them away in the corner, but I figure I'll make my own style of them almost being the centerpieces haha. It doesn't bother me to look at the thermometers and so I guess it is just personal preference, and definitely no offense taken.

You have some beautiful tanks. NPTs I hear. May I ask without seeming to be insulting: why do you put your thermometers in the front/center?
