it doesn't matter which parent is which, although it might be EASIER to use a CT male and a HM female, since HM males are notorious for being difficult spawners due to their excessive finnage. basically when you outcross, you try to improve the traits that are most lacking in your last generation, for instance, if you're not getting enough spread, you outcross to HM. if you need deeper ray reduction, outcross to CT.
Hi, sorry if I'm bothering you but I had a couple more questions about the genetics part of half suns. When I breed the HMxCT should the male be the male be HM, or the female? Also when I out cross would I continue to out cross, throughout the line or is it just after F1?
