Like I stated I've done the research so I've made a well informed decision.

Yes it is a golden CAE, I have 2 in a 46g tank with 9 female Bettas. In an aquarium setting they rarely get larger than 6". I have plenty of plants, caves & make sure they're well fed. So far no problems. I've done a lot of research on them & have gotten feedback from others who have them with no problems. I keep an eye on them & if I start to have a problem I'll take action. I love them, they're cool fish.

Sometimes she does if I don't stop her in time. I have 5 dogs so I'm pretty conscientious about barking unnecessarily. She barks at people she doesn't know when they come in the house & it can take a awhile before she settles down. Usually if they start playing with her she'll stop. And yes she's shy with people she doesn't know, she actually is a biter if someone just goes to pet her or pick her up. She has an orange caution sticker on her medical records at the vets.

She has her moments. She's is everything good or bad you've ever heard about a Chi. She's all attitude.
