I'm so glad I was able to help & very glad your Guppy is doing much better. I am by no means an expert on Bettas but I am more than happy to share my experiences. Aqdavisor is a good resource but not perfect. You don't have to be too picky about the hardness or Ph range, Bettas are pretty good about adapting so long as those things stay consistent. The main thing is to make sure they water temp is good & that there is 0 ammonia/nitrItes & <20 nitrAtes. Sounds like you are taking very good care of your Betta. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if anything should come up.

    Hi there!

You helped me a lot when my guppy was sick (he's better now thanks!) You also advised me to buy those test kits, and guess what, I just bought one today!
Now before im going to test everything I was wondering if you would like to help me again? You seem to know quite a lot about bettas; could you tell me what are the ideal water conditions for them? (mine is happy and all, but maybe he's missing something?)
I have blue fairy shrimp in my tank together with my betta I checked AqAdvisor and the result was:

Recommended temperature range: 24 - 26 C. [Display in Farenheit]
    Recommended pH range: 6.2 - 6.8.
    Recommended hardness range: 5 - 6 dH.

Do I need to know something else?
