She won't explode but she is probably very sick. It sounds like she is either eggbound or has a very severe bacterial infection. Judging from what you are describing, the likelihood of her surviving even if you could provide treatment sounds very slim. :( If you can, try to put her in her own tank with 3 tsps of epsom salt per gallon.
