Hello Misty, Thanks so much for that vote of confidence, I was unsure at first, but now I know that I can take in rescue's..and it's such a heartwarming experience to see them recover and thrive!!
I love your tank, I have Sammy in a 5 gallon now, Sapphire is in his old 3 gal tank, oh the pink thing I got at Petco, is a Coral Ball hiding cave, and it will definatley fit in your tank, I actually wanted it for Sammy, but Sapphire loved it soo much the first night of treatment I had to let him keep ~ I just know Sparkle will love it, ask him what color he would like I saw it in blue!! Happy 4th:)
    Sparkle is beautiful..VT right?

Sapphire looks AWESOME !!! Thumbs and Fins Up to you for saving him :)

What is that large pink bubble-looking 'hide-out' in his tank? It looks like something my Sparkle said he would like to have.

What size tank is Sapphire in? I have a 5.5 gallon tank and wonder if the pink thing will fit in it okay.

Here is a pic (not too clear...need better camera) of his tank so far....don't want to crowd him....he loves to swim and swim and swim. He 'sleeps/rests' in bewtween the silk plants now.

    Thanks A Bunch :)

Its hard to tell from the pic...but what I can see...looks like normal pigment...if he is perking up and starting to eat with the treatment....I wouldn't worry....
Its better to use a therapeutic dose of aquarium salt-starting at 1tsp/gal-3tsp/gal and if you have any tannins to add-use that too-it will help toughen the fins/scales and help with healing, stress....I would premix some treatment water in a 1gal jug to use for water changes and limit that to 50% daily-too many 100% can be stressful even for treatment...Pretty fella by the way.....
