Is it possible for my betta to bleed from tail nips?

King Dedede's tail (the split part) has red on it and right now he is hiding behind the filter...

no one is listening!!

he says "they won't die" or "they're gonna be fine!"... he just won't listen! ;-;

DARN IT. my dad thought it was possible (even though I said NO!)

... I wasn't allowed a divider. also, are danios and bettas SUPPOSED to be apart? I think my dad was tricked by the pet store employees
