Yay for Marylanders!! And I think he's just a young VT. I got him from Walmart and sitting in gross water for a while probably didn't do good things for his health. Or he's just young and hast grown up yet. Who knows :)

Hey LTB! Yes, NLS is still better because omega one has wheat gluten. Wheat gluten is a cheap filler used in pet foods to boost the protein. It is the concentrated protein extracted from wheat. So the reason omega has a higher protein content is the wheat gluten. Therefore NLS has higher quality protein because it is all from the meat/(there are no protein fillers in NLS). It is actually better for your fish to have a little bit less protein if it is meat protein rather than plant protein . 37% is plenty, not to mention it's just the minimum, so it might have more than that.

hey there, youve posted on a couple of my threads, i bought this fish about a week ago from pet smart. he appears albino to me, no pigment in the scales or skin, redish pink eyes, and he also seems to have vision problems (which have gotten better since he is no longer in the bright flourescent lighting in the big corporate pet store) anyway just wanting your opinion. i cant seem to figure out how to attach the image so here is a link facebook. com/photo.php?fbid=469210249774284&set=a.4661607300792 36.119442.100000559392524&type=3&theater you should be able to copy and paste however feel free to add me if needed. i had to put a space after facebook. to let it allow me to post
