It took day. If you see the light on and off again, it's normal. I noticed that and I also noticed that it turns on when there's some water movement so I kept on splashing the water lightly. Lol

I might just do that. But it would be harder on the girls for a fish-in cycle. Her gill plate has a little bright red. Does that mean ammonia poisoning or proper air circulation as OFL stated. She's not that lethargic anymore, but she still breaths heavily. I added Prime so it should be able to neutralize the ammonia until tonight's water change.

Well you could put her in the 20 gal, then find a slightly larger QT container, and then get tye rest of the girls...

Which means I can't use that. *sigh* There's only one solution. My 20 G tank. I can wait until ammonia is 0ppm and then add her in. But, then there's the other fish to QT. Crap...

I don't think you can really heat those...You need a hot room for those, like a fish room heated to 73+.....Could you get a bigger jar or a bucket or something? The mini heater should work in that...
