That's much better than last night. Unfortunately, not all bacterial supplements are created the same. The reason I suggested Tetra Safestart is that it is one of two bacterial supplements that actually have the bacteria that make up a cycle. A renowned scientist developed the formula and sold it to Tetra for millions. I think you can buy it at Petsmart. But you can put in the bacterial supplement you have. Maybe something will come of it.

I changed the water, it's 3.0ppm right now. I have Top Fin Bacteria Supplement, will that do? There's no Stability by Seachem here and I don't think there's Tetra Safestart.

Nah. Since there aren't any fish in there right now, you're not in any danger. You might want to try adding a bacterial supplement like Tetra Safestart after this, tho.

Damn, it's really late right now. :/ Will it hurt if I do the water change tomorrow? Well, later on today?

Oh wow.. Ya. That is going to stall your cycle. We really aim to keep ammonia around 4ppm. Off the charts (higher than 8ppm) will kill the bacteria. Ammonia is actually used as a disinfectant, but you need a lot of it. Like in what you find in an off the charts reading. A 50% water change will help you a lot right now!

Hello TKM. I think I overdosed my ammonia... I'm using pure ammonia for my cycle and it's WAY OVER the charts! The green is SO dark! Is the filter going to be stalled? :/
