Maybe it didn't go through. Our six years or older turtle lives inside overnight and goes out into either a 10gal. tank on our deck or a baby pool in the yard. Neither have very deep water and I worry that the water gets too warm for its comfort. I do have a shaded area and, of course, it gets out of the water when it wants to. Also, I worry sometimes the water may be too cold. We have been having very cool nights and I try to wait till it warms a little before putting it out.
Any advice?
I just posted, or tried to, a message asking about how often to feed a painted turtle and about water temperatures between inside and outside. How do I view my message to know if it went anywhere?
