Hey Mo got my plants today they look good ! I have them soaking in some plain water and when I do a water change today I will save the old tank water and soak them in there for a couple of days. Now when I am ready to put them in the tank I just let them float or try and put the biggest pieces root down into the gravel ? So happy its cooler here this week I can put the hood light on them during the day. Glad I got some hortwot I think is how you spell it, anyway its nice looking ! Thanks so much Mo for all your help so excited to have some real water plants ! Sheila

Hey Mo! You've probably never heard of me!
Apparently, you're around 12 years old and a boy! I know this is weird but I too am 12 and a boy! I just thought it would be cool to talk to someone of my age and gender for once! XD Anyway, I hope you don't find this creepy....

EDIT: I also like football (soccer) and tennis! This is just getting weird.....

I have never worked with dragons...so I don't know that much about their genetics....you might ask Indjo....he would know...

If knowing the genetic history of your offspring is important.....I wouldn't mix the 2 spawns....Plus 2 weeks apart the younger fry would most likely become food..
Make lot of water changes on that 5gal (I am sure you know this already)

I start moving my Betta fry as early as 2 weeks of age-but my fry grow really fast-some wait until 4 weeks before they move their fry-I move the biggest first...I generally will move them by netting first-to place in a cup of their tank water to acclimate to the new tank water(I am sure you already know how to properly acclimate)

Mixing spawns-that depends.....if you can tell them apart or if it matters for genetic history reasons....plus size-if one spawn is much bigger than the other-the smaller fry may be eaten...

Hey Mo, do you still have things to sell? Like plants or something? I might be interested to buy a handful or 2. ~LTB
