Any organic type potting soil, top soil or dirt from your yard....you don't want any added ferts ....my plants to the same thing with the oak leaves-as the oak leaf decomps they create CO2 naturally

Never heard of it, however, you don't want to use soil with added ferts since some can become toxic in the tank as well as cause excessive algae issue.

I have a buyer for everything I can produce...Bettas, plecos, Guppies, Neons, Danios, shrimp, marble crayfish and plants and soon Flag fish and Angelfish...kinda a supply-v-demand....

I am working on a line of Bettas that I do plan to sell to the public in the near future..
