Wishing u comfort & strangth. ....* rip betta buddy*
its truely a sad day when a loved one or a family pet passes

Didn't know till today that as long as humans can drink the empsom salt water bettas can also use the empsom salts. Confused about the salt didn't think it was the same for the betta as the aquarium salt is differnt. Started a thread today...and got the answers about that.

Unfortunately he passed. I would check your water parameters for ammonia, nitrate, and nitrites. The epsom salt can be found usually at dollar type stores, wal-mart and grocery stores. You can find it in the first aid section.

He's doing better still has the parasite definitely going to have to do another round. I put him in clean treated water tonight. He seemed really stressed and I added some epsom salt predisolved to his water and that seems to be helping. I'm going to do another round of parasite clear tomorrow and epsom salt combined.

Hi mike...just wondering how ur betta buddys doing? Is his parasite treatment going well? Have had him for awhile or did u recently adopt him? I was researching about constipation & found an inspected called diphtheriflea "water fleas" guess they have a good amount of fiber in them. I've been fasting neacco two days now today will be the third day tummy not as swollen at night still looked annoyed and was showing stress lines. I was reading also about green peas how there suppose to help I can't imajine that would be in there diets in the wild+ I also have read that those green peas arnt good for there digestive track. So I'm going to look for some diphtheria I suppose that would be less stressfull than a empont salt bath. Anyways just wanted to say good luck with things it really sucks dealing with sick pets.
