Yes, sadly, along with another boy that I picked up shortly after moving, and all starting having trouble after I started feeding some Aqueon pellets I purchased.....so I assume that that had to have been the issue.

Oh, I just read over what you said earlier again... All the fish you brought with you died around the same time??

Oh I only ended up spawning this one time about three years ago.....I was more of a beginner, really had no business breeding, but I got really lucky and had a successful spawn and raised a good 50-70 fish.....and thankfully I was able to bring them in to our local privately owned pet store in the area that took them for store credit. xD
I did want to spawn again, but afterwards I got a little busy and then ended up getting a job at that local pet store....and just didn't have enough time to do it again.

How long have you been breeding bettas?

Yeah, it was definitely difficult....especially with the ones I'd bred and raised myself, they were of course the most near and dear to me. But, I couldn't move 20+ fish cross country, and we weren't supposed to have pets in our rent house(which we just moved out of this past summer), so it had to be done. I still miss them, but I've filed up my tanks the past several months once more and I have many lovely boys now, so its okay. :)
