Well, I can't say I'm an expert in plant care XD this is the first time I've ever attempted live aquarium plants. I'm successfully rescuing two sick orchids, but that's a whole different ball game! Water Wisteria I've heard is pretty easy - it can thrive in low light conditions with no added ferts or CO2. I haven't lost a stem of it yet, though one of them doesn't have much left of it XD Amazon Swords are a bit more touchy, and have higher light requirements. If they can get natural light, its great. If not, try to get a 6500K (I think) light for your tank.
Hopefully others can give you more and accurate information in your thread! ;)
Haha, i know, right? I'm saving up to have them come and build me a tank. Just don't hold your breathlol. Anyway, I went to petsmart in search of onions(lol, that sounded so funny, going to a petstore in search of food) and did not find any. I did find water wystriya(sp?) and amazon swords! They are healthy and snail free. Can you give me some suggestions on their overall care? i will also be posting a thread so maybe you could check that out. thanks!
I could not find them:(. Anyway, you know whats crazy? Well u know the show tanked on tv? I was on their website and they had a video where one person showed a tour of his house. His daughter owned a betta in a half gallon unheated tank! i was SHOCKED! Ever have something like this happen to you?
I have two onion bulbs that I got from PetCo, that came with Aponogeton bulbs and a waterlily bulb. They seem to enjoy the tank water, as they've grown leaves almost a foot tall in the month I've had them. I can send you pictures in a PM.
