Poor little guy. I'm sure he'll be fine. It sounds like he's getting a lot of TLC. :)

okay I will give that a shot starting this weekend. I have to get a stock of water. I have well water and I don't trust it seeing as it turns my shower a rust color :(

I would do full water changes about every other day. One of our members is fond of saying that the best medicine you can give your fish is clean water.

no he isn't getting worse. He is in a three gallon and I have been trying partial changes everyday 30 to 50 percent. with a total change once a week. I have a thread about him started that has his whole story. It has emergency in the title. His attitude has improved since the changes, swimming more, eating more... just no tail improvement.

How often are you changing the water? Is he getting any worse?

Hey, I have had this red VT rescue for about two weeks. Heated and regular water changes to try and fix his fin rot there is not a change (AQ salt too) I am wondering if his fins are permanantly damaged like reds are. whats your opinion?

wow. People are nuts. Reminds me of when I was asked to babysit a little boy. They told me they would be back at nine. Then they got mad at me and took the kid back because I said, "you will be back at nine right?"

lol. Right. She wasn't paying me on time and when she was questioned about it she flipped her lid.
