Well, mistakes are kind of a good/bad thing about life depending on how you look at them. Mistakes may make you feel stupid or embarassed but I embrace them as a pure learning experience. I think it was thomas edison who said he made a thousand or something mistakes until he found out how to make the light bulb. This is how he viewed mistakes, "Results! Why man, I have gotten a lot of results. I know several thousand things that won't work" -Thomas Edison
I understand what you are saying. Kids get yelled at for acting silly. It isn't easy to try and grow up and I can say honestly I haven't grown up yet and I am married with my own house. Yes she still loves that boy but I can't say to much. I liked N'Sync when I was her age. young girls like pop music. I just wish she was more into hobbies than boys. It makes Auntie nervous :) It's good to have hobbies. It's a good way to focus the mind. But I guess music is a hobby anyways. I think you are on the right track by being aware that you have to learn from mistakes, not repeat them.
