Lord of the Rings LOL

I have a good friend who is convinced the series is a HUGE ripoff of LOTR... LOL! her and I are diehard LOTR fans and I can see similarities.... I mean, heck... Human "Eragon" is in love with Elf "Arya".... Eragon - Arya.... Aragorn - Arwen.... LMAO! And the scene in the Hadarac desert when the guys on horseback surround them makes me think back to the Rohirim surrounding Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli in LOTR... But it is hard to not plagiarize sometimes as there can be similarities by accident honestly. LOL

Aha! Now you can torment me with something! LOL They are first up on the list after Inheritance is done! YAY! I love that we have such similar taste in books! This is good!

I just got a couple cheap/free books the other day. I also got the Hunger Games trilogy because everyone keeps telling me to read it! LOL

That sounds perfect! I wish that were a reality for me! I'm the type of reader who likes to have multiple copies of books too... So I can lend them out without worry, and also just because. I also own a kindle and plan to buy all my favorite books in kindle form as well as own the hard and paperback copies as well... I need to be rich :P

I wish I could read faster or had more time to read when I wasn't exhausted and likely to fall asleep with the book on my face (has happened multiple times lately, lol) yeah. There are so many good dragon series out there it is amazing!

Haha. I know what you mean. That's okay. Even though I'm 25 I tend to gravitate towards younger level books. I don't know why. I think my imagination is still rather immature. XD Another good Dragon trilogy is the Pit Dragon Trilogy. The books are Heart's Blood, Dragon's Blood, and A sending of Dragons... tho not necessarily in that order. It is way different than Eragon but I loved it. It's about dragon fighting, but it is civilized more like wrestling or boxing with humans. It's really cool! And DANG you read fast. I'm still like on the third chapter of Inheritance... tho I do work a lot and play tons of video games with my Hubby so... lol

Of course I know who Mr. Rogers is. I grew up watching his show! LOL Know what is even creepier? The delivery man... Mr. McFeely O.o LOL Yeah. So what's up? How far are you in Eldest?
