    So from my past experience and a bit of research I do not think a neons tail will grow back (assuming the chunk missing is its tail) If the chunk missing is its actual peice of the body that could be a natural deformity, or a wound. If its a deformity than you can't do anything about it. If its a wound than I would carefully monitor it, because it could easily get infected and spread to the other fish.

    Hey, I noticed you had neon tetras. Do you know what to do if one of them seems to have a chunk of skin bitten off of it's body? One of my neons came home like that and it is not healing. Thanks!
