I'm actually surprised they come to the surface to feed. I had to let the pellets sink and hope they got them. Otherwise they spent a lot of time picking food off the sand.

Doesn't Neptune ever get endlers in so you could get a few more?

Hydor is a really good brand or so I've heard. I think you'd probably be better off with one of their powerheads than a standard one by say, Aquaclear.

Too bad about the rummy. I never noticed them being very jumpy so maybe a shrimp did get to it, if it died and just laid there behind a plant or something. At least the shrimp is well fed. o.O

I know which brand you're talking about, I've read about that in magazines. Mostly meant for reef tanks which is why the flow is gentle, like a wave lapping on the coral. But my only concern is whether or not the powerhead would cause increased oxygen levels, which would defeat the purpose of C02. What do you think? Can you use a prefilter on a Hydor Koralia? That would help keep the fish from accidentally getting sucked to the powerhead.

okies! I'm sorry it didn't turn out too well. I tried to give you as much as I could, hopefully the survivors will do well. My frogbits' roots just maxed the height of my 2.5g tank today.

I'm waiting to use up my bottle of Excel and then I was thinking of maybe switching to AquaVitro.

I need a foreground plant and I was thinking of just plopping some moss into the sand and hoping it stays put.

I know, I hate that they're charging tax now. But still, even with sales tax amazon is usually an awesome deal. But grr. I've ordered my latest wish list already, since Saturday is the deadline.

Yeah, the ADA stuff is expensive. I wonder if it's that much better than Seachem's products? Like the ADA ferts and products like that. But I don't think you need all those expensive things. Just as long as you can get a carpet of hairgrass to grow, your tanks will look awesome guaranteed.
