Haha. XD Whitney was kind of a bummer of a name to have in the last few weeks. "Are you named after Whitney Houston?"

Yeah, big fish definitely need to be double filtered. Overstocking depends on the aggression. If they really aggressive sometimes overstocking helps because there's no room to be territorial. I hope to have an African cichlid tank with Malawi peacocks, socolofi, and brichardi someday soon. Or at least, I would if I hadn't just gotten three dojo loaches that'll need a big tank when they grow up. >_> I gotta learn to walk out of pet stores without a little bag of fish.

Platies would work for the sorority too. They also drop live fry and they don't get as nippy as guppies/endlers sometimes do.

Yeah I saw that little convo and decided to say Meg lol. *Thinks of Family Guy* To be fair, me llamo es Kyle or my name is Kyle lol.

I forgot messy fish are big, thus making the shrimp be endangered, how would you do that? Do you overstock the tank and like double filter it?

Same here I would die for a cichlid tank, though I have no room for that large of a tank... Wait! There are those tiny little sea shell ones, some day, some day. I wouldn't mind getting some endlers for my sorority tank, if the bettas eat the fry, no problem or the shrimp. Maybe if I redo the 5 gallon I could put the fry in there and see if Katana would eat them, if not I could let a couple grow out, then transfer them to the bigger tank.

XD Haha. Yup, my given name is Whitney but I always hated it so I go by Meg. Fishman loves to tease me about that. XD Although, I still answer to either one. Unless it's my parents. Then I pretend I don't hear them if they call me Whitney. XD I'm rotten that way.

It's not just the bettas on Aquabid, I end up looking at the cichlids and the livebearers too.

Yup, I'm happy with my easy shrimp too. The major problem is any fish messy enough to feed a bamboo shrimp or other filter-feeding shrimp is also going to be big enough to eat it whole. O.O

    Hi Meg!

The only things that I usually look at on Aquabid are plants. If I look at fish I want will want to get more. No can do on a 15 year olds money.

I wouldn't want messy fish or shrimp that need messy conditions. I am fine with my easy ghost shrimp and red cherry shrimp.

Yeah, any shrimp that is a filter feeder is really hard. You almost have to have a tank of really messy fish for them to survive.

Haha, that's why I stay off the Aquabid thread. I'd be in so much trouble if I was a regular there.

I saw 25 adults with the buy now option lol. I would so by the shrimp but I don't have a place to really house them because I wanna redo the 5 so i would have to store them somewhere while doing that. Those bamboo shrimp are creeper, plus they are harder to care for. I like easy cheaper shrimp that will breed without me having to do anything.

I don't like that Aquabid thread, it temps me so much.

There are some shrimp, like the filter-feeding bamboo shrimp, that get humongous. Those actually kinda creep me out. Petco had some and they were really . . . weird. They get about 3-4 inches big.

I'm too lazy to bid, haha. I always thought if I did Aquabid I'd go for whoever had the buy now option.

I saw 10 juvies on sale for however the one person bid on them, the starting price was $1 so it may not be too high.

Yeah that would be cool to just have an all shrimp tank, I wouldn't mind doing that, it would actually be pretty cool to do. 5 gallon glass tank, open top, NPT, and a little tiny filter with a prefilter on the tube.

30 is a bit much for even a 10g unless all you put in there were shrimp. Selling in bulk isn't always the best. >_> I saw some cool swordtails on Aquabid but it was for a pack of 6. I just wanted 2. Sigh. Haha, yeah, if I do get RCS, you can definitely have some.

*Haha, now I got someone in my trap so I can get ten instead of thirty* lol, it makes me angry though, no one sells like 10 they sell 30 which is a bit too much for me for a 5 gallon.

If you ever do get RCS and they breed, I want some!
