UK that is actually a good idea, go try on the adapter before you buy the faucet.

I really can't see the plakat since Kei has the crowntail fins, that are also long. I guess the 5 gallon will be the home until I know for she's a girl. I will just give it a while, no fin growth female, fin growth male. She is a double ray though I can tell you that.

I was contemplating whether or not to put a Betta in my shrimp tank but then the babies won't survive so oh well. Once some get big they will go into the 5 gallon, most likely. Or I cam sell you some real cheap, just pay for shipping or meet up with me.

Although, fish are about as expensive as girlfriends. XD

Oh, I see. Yeah, my faucet originally didn't have the screw thing either. We went to Home Depot with the faucet adapter and tried them on all of the faucets until we found one that worked, lol.

I wonder if Kei was a mislabeled plakat? Gagh, once plakats appeared on the scene, it became that much harder to tell the gender. >.< Females do flare but I personally have never gotten a female to flare at a mirror before, only at another female.

How big are those bugs? Aurasoulful on here had aphids in her tank that ate her frogbit. But usually aphids are white. . . are they those water skaters that are fairly big? They look like mosquitos . . .

I know, fish don't need purses either lol.

I looked into that, the only problem is is our faucets don't have that screw thing, or at least I think. My 15 and 5 gallon are only about maybe 10-15 feet.

Sakura I walked on the bedroom and Kei was flaring! Is this normal behavior of a female? Cause I I also had a mirror and was having Kei flare so yeah...

Oh and I have these little black bugs that are on the surface of the water in there, they hop around and eat my dang frogbit! Why can't they eat the water lettuce? But I have no idea what they are, do you?

Haha. That's fine to not worry about the dating thing. Who needs a cheerleader girlfriend when you've got FISH! ;)

Bigger tanks are nice just because you can do fewer water changes. You could ask for an Aqueon water changer for your birthday, I guess. Only problem is they can waste water because you have to have the faucet on for the suction. Sometimes you can get away with turning the faucet on long enough to get the siphon going but if the water has to travel a long distance or uphill at any point, you pretty much have to have the faucet on the entire time you siphon. How far from your tanks to a sink?

Meh, I am like one of the only guy that doesn't focus on getting a girlfriend. Sure I have had options with cheerleaders and such, but I would rather focus on school and not that annoying gossip.

I should take some pictures, oh darn, my sister has her computer with her in Hawaii. I will just use my other sisters then, maybe. I will get some pictures maybe later tonight. I have lots of homework for math.

I think after that 16, the only way I will het another tank is for an upgrade. Big tanks are nice, I just wish I could use a water changed that went to the sink.

Sakura! I am not sure of Kei is a girl or not, still... When I was trying to catch her to put her in the box, she had absolutely no stress stripes, is that normal? Because most of the time if I try and catch a girl, usually they stripe up. Btw it was with a net because she always stays at the bottom and is so quick.

U got my shrimp tank up and running! The shrimp really like it so far, they have only been in there for ten minutes but still.
It has been so windy! I have the "Bieber" hair (in my defense, I had it before he was popular) it blows around like crazy though!

About that tank, I would get ir but since there is no room to really store it I will have to decline. I wish I could though. I know someone that is giving away a free 16 gallon tank with a nice stand. My sister and her boyfriend said they would store it. I still wouldn't mind meeting up.

Yeah, that's it! The Academy. :)

Hmm, no, I don't know when new bettas come in at Petsmart. I know that my Petco gets shipments in Thursday or Friday, though, and my Wal-Mart gets shipments in Tuesdays.

They said it was going to rain but all we've had is wind.

Oh the Academy of Sciences! That place is awesome, the alligator is cool, but kind of like a betta in cool water, very relaxed and slow. feeding is probably different though. The butterfly thing is cool, the pond that is on the bottom can be walked under and that is actually how you can get to the fish tanks.

At least the pot was salvaged right?

It is! DO you know when new bettas get put up at Petsmart?

It's the aquarium in Golden Gate Park. I'm not quite sure what it's called. My folks went once and apparently they have an albino alligator there. Long, long ago they used to have a two-headed snake.

Oh, I'm throwing in a Penguin 50 so no worries about the filter. You may have to baffle it; when I did use it, it knocked my neons upside down. I looked over once and saw a neon go by on its head. o.O But it's a great filter otherwise and I don't have a tank for it so you might as well get some use out of it. :)

I would say if all you did were shrimp and neons, you could easily have a dozen neons.

Nope, that plastic was pretty well melted on there. It really smelled bad, too. But my dad was able to scrub the plastic off the pot anyway.

Picking which betta to get is hard. That's why I have so many, I can't choose. >.< I do really love my little plakats but the HMs are so purty. Only problem is their tails can get so big. Choices, choices . . .
