Yeah, actually it was easier than i thought, though i was already losing him so I think it helped a bit. I think culling would be much easier now since I know how and I did it. Scary though I do have to say. My hands smell like clove oil with a hint of vodka lol.
I think rushing just gives you what you want faster, but more odds to messing up.
I need to get some more variety of food, also. High quality food though, aand frozen treats!
I'm really sorry about Kei, Kyle. I know he (or she, I guess we never figured that out for sure) meant a lot to you. You did the right thing even though it wasn't easy. And you're smart to take your time and not feel like you have to rush out and buy a new one.
Don't worry I did that, the deed is done and he passed away, once I was sure I buddies him in the plants.
Now the next step is to clean the tank. That will be tomorrow and Saturday, then I will try to buy plants on Sunday and just wait from there until I feel ready. I just can't get a new one yet, last time I did that I had nightmares and woke up throughout the night checking on Rarity. She scared me everytime because she was a feel and rested on the pebbles.
If you have an eyedropper, probably. If not, just eyeball it as best you can. Remember to put the drops into a separate pint of water and to mix that well. You will then put the oil/water mixture into Kei's water. Don't add the clove oil directly to his tank.
Would Walgreens have it? They are a pharmacy type store. Or Trader Joes?
Yeah they don't get it, it is annoying because my sister has a super overstocked tank and never cleans it, no fish have died. It really annoys me because I do stuff right and they die, actually most of them died within 72 hours so it was the stores fault not mine.
I got mine at a natural foods co-op. Some kind of grocery store with a big natural foods department might have it. If it helps any, fish don't feel pain the same way we do so he isn't suffering quite like we would.
