That's good she will special order for you. Is there a fee or is it because your a good customer?

When that happens I just put the check valve on. So I have enough airline tubing because my sister had a lot on her air pump. So the airpump, even though its rated for 40 gallons is actually pretty quiet. I have the tube running along the Ehiem intake so you don't see it when you are looking at the tank from above, then it goes behind the plants. It's actually doesn't show that way.

Yeah hopefully, I know that it requires good substrate too, so I finally will have the right conditions. Would having CO2 on at night be bad alwith no airstone? I would think that it wouldn't matter with bettas. Also a youtuber I follow does that, he has other fish, no airstone at night, bit he also has very good flow.

At least tubing is cheap. I have yards and yards. I cut some up for one reason and then find that it's too short for another use so I have to buy more.

Good luck with the hairgrass. I know it can be touchy but it's going to have the best conditons in your tank so it should do well.

I can also ask the lady at my LFS to order more swordtails, which I might. She just told me to have my wishlist in before Tuesday.

Aw that sucks, well hopefully at least on fry is a female. Man that sucks though, maybe it was the one that gave birth and became stressed or something?

So I found a 15 watt CFL at my local hardware store for $7 instead of over $10 for 10 watts at Petco. I plan on just having one of those dome lights, like the ones for reptiles, or if I get my desk light from my sister. I am gonna dry start the 5.5 gallon so the dwarf hairgrass starts carpeting. Then maybe I will add DIY CO2, and since I do have a betta he shouldn't get gased. But I might split a line from the tetra and run it to the tank, which might be a lot of tubing, but then at least everything is safe.

I'm going to have to find another female swordtail. One died for no reason this morning. I had to move the male back to the 29 because he was harassing the remaining female so much. Dang.

The fry are so cute! I love them! I will have to show everyone what I want for my 16 gallon lol.

I will see, these bioballs are small, I could also try to break the bioballs up so I can still use those. Also I have them in my moms tank so I can just cycle a tank pretty fast.

I called a petshop that is in Cambell about endlers, they didn't have any in stock, but when they get some they have my number so i can get some. They sell them in pairs, but the guy said they will see if I can get two females instead of 1 and another male. I don't want the female also getting heckled by the two to breed.

I'm not sure bioballs would fit into the Azoo. You could try Kent's Nitrate Sponge. A tiny bit of those would fit in really well. Can't wait to see the tank take off with C02. :)

Just switched to the Azoo Palm Filter (well box says Azoo Mignon Filter 60). Super quiet, good flow. Way better than the Picotope filter I was using before, which had almost no flow. Only beef I have is the Azoo only has two pieces of foam - one coarse for mechanical and one fine for biological - no chemical filtration. I can probably fix that though.

Those Tetras aren't that silent but they aren't the loudest either. I just know not to get a cheap Azoo airpump. It was so noisy it shook itself right off the counter. I never even bothered to hook anything up to it, just put it straight in Goodwill.

My Dad was an electrician for a while, so he knows the amount and a base cost of what it would be. We don't pay a water bill either so it is a bit better on my part lol.

It is a Tetra, the so called silent airpumps and filters series (Total bull, get an Ehiem and wait for silence lol, the 10 gallon airpump on my Moms tank when more air is let through annoys me. I am only gonna use it as long as i am doing DIY CO2, after that the regulator I want uses an electronic solenoid, so i can just plug it into my light timer and bam it is perfect. I need like $100 for everything though.

We use to have the nicest mail man too! If we were outside he would just give is the mail and all that, but he retired
