    GwenInNM, Sorry for the delayed response. Wife gave birth to our baby boy the day you posted so had the week off (forgot how much work a little one was lol) Please keep me posted on how the plants do with that LED, you might have some issues with the stem plants, seems like a lot of floating plants for that small surface area. I would love some duckweed but can't find it anywhere around here. What kind of filter did you decide on for your shrimp?

    Update. I've never heard back from the Tetra company about the light specs. Go figure. And they claim they return all messages within 24 hours. I've set the 3 gal up as a RCS tank only. I'm using the LED light, and I'm hopeful it will keep my low light plants. The only plant I have in there that does better with brighter light is a stem of something I can't remember the name of - Cambado? - something like that. :) If that does fine, then all should be good. I'll let you know. Have Pennywort stems floating, one Anachris, and frogbit and duckweed.
