Okay. I just saw this species called panda goldfish? Omg they were adorable! Anyways hmm I think I may just back off the goldfish then. I love your koi pond. I really wish I could build one of those! My yard is way too small lol. What size a tank would you recommend for like 4 or 5 goldfish a 75 gal? After reading up I realize how terrible these fish have it. Being sold with bowls named after them. Ugh!

Hey, I have a 29.9 gal tank, And I was wondering how many goldfish would you put in a tank that size if any at all. I'm just researching other species because I have a 29.9 gal that is sitting unused I may just grab a stand for it and set it up. I love your blog by the way it is awesome! I read it over a bunch of times.

Curious, where did you read that dwarf gourami iridovirus is transferable between species? I've always thought that but someone on TFK said it's exclusive to dwarf gourami, as do a few websites. Not sure what to think right now.

Hey everyone! I'm going to the beach with friends this next week, so my activity will be spotty at best. PM me if you need anything!

I found the most awesome pond/koi store! The guy is super knowledgeable and has a bunch of champion koi. He told me that I can't put fish directly into a galvanized steel tank because it'll leech metals. I have to coat it with some kind of special rubber first to make it inert. So as soon as I do that and let it set, I can fill it up! Yay!

Sorry, busting in on your conversation. Just gotta say I love TFH. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to subscribe to. I subscribe to Aquarium Fish International 'cause I got a $5 deal on Amazon. Both are good but I like David Boruchowitz, the editor-in-chief of TFH. I have half of his books and his betta book helped me get off to the right start.

Yes, I was looking at this month's issue and I wish I could have it now. They have an article on the worst community fin nippers. :D But then again, they always have awesome articles.

Go to the PFK site, click "subscribe" then "more info" and "international offers"
62 pounds for a year, which is 13 issues I believe. Around $100. I think it's a pretty chunky magazine. They deliver it by airmail, but that cost might be included since it costs more than ordering in the UK. I might ask for a subscription for Christmas.

I remember you saying you can't get PFK magazine shipped to the states?
    Yes you can. :D
