Alright, hopefully everything will be in by the weekend so I can try again. My new guy was the sweetest thing, and he turned mean in the 10 gallons. He's in 5 gallons now, and he's flaring at me, which he never did. The cory has almost no cover right now, and he got bit, but I can`t see any damage, and after I took the betta out he was midswimming around again within a few minutes. I kind of need to put someone in the community, can a male and female share water or are there some hormone things to worry about?

Is some chasing normal when adding a betta to a community? I tried to put my new guy in with the pygmy cory, but he kept chasing him around like crazy.. I'm going to hold off on trying again until I get more pygmies and my plants ship in so they get more cover. Will the chasing usually die off?

Oh gosh that was so sweet of you to make sure I got your response, thank you! :) I use Top Fin currently (which I've recently heard some bad stuff about, so I'll probably switch-- any recommendations?)

Haha, we always get random ones here.

It's pretty hard to find a certain species of plants/fish, if you seen them once, and you go back next time, you probably won't see them again, for a couple of months.

It's pretty common and can be found at my LPS. It's full name is Cryptocoryne, hope that helps.

    It's Crypt I believe.

I bought that plant a long time ago and it's been growing like wild. e_______e; I'm not sure if it's supposed to have that hint of red or not. >:
