Yes. You should certainly stop feeding them. I know it's a strange feeling at first not to feed your fish, but you get used to it. If the fish do get hungry they will munch on the algae. Goldfish are very adept at finding food on their own if they get hungry.
Well... I needed one cup to raise my 55 gal about 2 dGH... extrapolate that out to the gallonage of your pond. Just aim for a dGH of over 6. While it will still be on the soft side, it will be much better for them and the plants.
The water temp fluctuates that much? If the air temp is still going up and down like that the water is bound to be warmer than 60F. Just keep an close eye on them. It might help if you gradually acclimate them all to the cooler temps with water changes with cold water.
Thanks, he is a ham. got him at PetSmart. People were staring at him and he was too fiesty for a lot of the kids, I noticed he had HITH and it would be a shame to have people take him home and thought it was part of the dragon scale. I did not plan to take him home but all works out pretty good. He just would not stop flaring but is pretty mellow when it comes to feeding time as in no jumping...yet.
I am glad to hear that your other rats are okay I hope that poor D'Artagnan is doing much better soon. Most of my pets are all well now, thank goodness!
how many pets do I actually have
209 birds
1 horse
1 cat
3 mice
1 rat
13 bettas
So approximately 228.
when I was at the petshop I ordered a custom make betta tank. It will be a barrack system that holds 10 males which means that I will have a total of 20 males so exciting!
I hope you are well too :)
People seem to think that you are missing out on something by not eating animal products but honestly the food is delicious! I eat better now that I did years and years ago before I became Vegan. Anyhow I was thinking of doing up a recipe book some time so when I do I will be sure to share with you!!!!
