That's awesome you might go to the Derby. If you do, take lots and lots of pics. :D Hey, have you heard of the Keeneland Equine Management Internship? I'd post the link but I don't think links work on here. But google it. It sounds like it might be a good fit for you.
I read Thoroughbred Weekly, that's how I keep up on my horse racing news. Eagerly awaiting the Breeder's Cup. :) Wonder if Goldikova will try for her 4th Breeder's Cup?
Ya, granted iwish i was a bit closer, im luckier than most in that sense, some states dont even have a track. Me and my dad may be going to the Kentucky Derby next year, but its really pricey. if we side against it, its definately one of those things ill do adventually. WHO KNOWS i may get free admission for owning a horse in the race (if i did i dont think admission cost would be anything to worry about). Its definately my number one sport, the only books i read are those about horse racing, i understand basically every aspect of it. im still 15 but have a job this summer. plan is i work eally hard and when i turn 18 i buy my own racehorse. What ive been doing for a week is studying the keenland sale that just happens and coming to a conclusion on which one i think would be most successful. if that goes well i think its a no-brainer i buy my own.
I know. I watched the video of it once and was sick to my stomach. And to break down right where Ruffian broke down too . . . she was truly a heroic filly, Go For Wand.
i cant get over your fish names haha. i had a nameless betta but since you named your after race horses i figured i'de name him Goldfinder after my favorite horse at the local track... i go often
