Oh yes, fish can actually be very nice, friendly and smart pets. (My fish are smarter than my dog)

I do consider myself lucky. Even if he was the worlds ugliest Betta, he is so sweet, he's like a dog. My best friend. I love him so much.

Haha, PetSmart. He was sitting on top of all the other Bettas on his own. I took one glance at him, picked him up, and left. And he had JUST gotten there!

Why thank you, that really flatters me! If you can see in the picture, he actually is iridescent. Meaning in different light he changes color. He has some nice emerald green in him.

I do have some before and after pictures, but they are useless. He never changed color.
