Yeah, cold water makes Bettas lethargic and clamped fins.

Yeah. It's about 82 now, and he's still swimming about. I didn't really get to apperciate his beauty before, he was mostly lethargic and kept his fins pretty close. He's let them out a bit and he's beyond gorgeous. I just wish i had a camera, or my idiot phone took better ones. V.V

People don't know that even though it's the high 80s where they live, still have to take into consideration that water is colder than air, and their house has AC.

I wanted to thank you for telling me to get a heater right away. I went and got one a few hours ago, and Cosmo really perked up. ^.^ Though the water was only a couple degrees colder, and still about 78F. XD
