ya i do the thing with the glass, hes on a counter and has no idea im there until he spots me looking at him sothen he goes to the other side.

thats funny. well if you just sorta tap the tank at the top every time u walk by and put 1 little peice of food in every now and then he think "when he walks by i get food" so he'll come up to the top or w/e. it may also have sumn to do with your floor. you may walk to heavily and it sends a wave through their home... sooo they hide! lol.
