Thanks :) I change every now and then lol.. the last guy (red) was Rebel, this one is a new one that was gifted to me by a breeder to pair with one of my girls. Haven't got a name yet :)

He just died.

He hung on for a week, but I think my newbie is dying now..... Did another water change last night, but it didn't help. He's in his cup with enough water to cover him, but he's lying on his side now so he can't really reach the surface.... I don't know what else to do for him.

Kabuki is beefing up a tad bit - but he's being overly active so it seems he is just exercising it all off lol

That is Rebel.. he was an added bonus the breeder sent me when I purchased his brother, Ranger. I've fallen a bit hard for Rebel lol :)

I've discovered that river rock bridges are easy to make, and the fish love them! (At least, my two males do. The female is too busy swimming all over the place to deal with anything stationary.)

(The rocks initially worried me a bit, since the bag says 'made in China,' but I soaked them in hot water, then let them dry before making the bridges. Hopefully, any 'stuff' on them, or in them, was washed off. I also did the vinegar test with them to make sure they didn't have anything like limestone in them.)

I think I'm becoming addicted to decorating my bettas' homes! LOL

Is Kabuki beefing up now? And who is the gorgeous red guy in your avatar? He's really pretty!

Thanks! I'll try some of those ideas. I picked up some PVC pipe today. I think my male VT will like it - he loves his terracotta pots. The female will probably ignore hers - she likes open spaces. I also picked up some river rocks for another cave attempt. (Ha! The male is already inside his pvc pipe.)
