OFL, I need some wisdom based on experience. My Kessler has some ragged fins. He does not have any black or brown on the edges. actually they are white. I have never seen him bite them, but it seems he is as the ragged edges happened over night. I have quar. him in a small tank with salt. He looks good, is blowing bubbles.and eats well. Do you have any idea why or how to correct this?
Hi OFL Thanks for responding to my injured Betta, He looks so much better tonight. His eye looks normal. His scales are healing fast. It is his ventral fin, not pectoral fin that is injured. It looks better but is still bent a little. I hope it is not broke. I read lots of advice on the forum for helping injuries. My thanks to all who post advice. I got some freeze dried bloodworms for him. I hope that makes him happy. I also got rid of the nylon and adjusted my baffle in case that is what caused my fish to get up on the filter. I sure hope I got it right this time.
help my betta got caught in his filter. He has injured his head just behind his eye, and one fin under him seems bent. He is eating and swimming. But I don't have a clue what to do. Can he recover? What do I need to do to help him.

Oldfishlady, I could use some help. I hope this is the way to contact you. I want to buy a small aquarium and all the proper equiptment I need for my new six month old betta. Any suggestions on brands? Or places to shop. Years ago I had a betta but kept him in a large bowl. After reading all the info on here I feel like I did not do very well by him.
