When you go to the place you change your signature, down further there is a spot where you can upload your picture to your signature. Sadly it doesn't work with URLs, you have to use to upload it :) Hope this helps!

Personally, anacharis & java moss were the best inventions ever.. I don't even care for my anacharis and it strives. You can leave it floating, attach it to stuff, or put it into the gravel. It really does not care. My java moss also needs zero care and it is a gorgeous green color that my shy fish will hide in. It is AWESOME.

Definitely buy easy-to-care-for-beginner plants first. My wendtii are proving hard to grow, and my val isn't growing at all because I cannot get high enough wattage in my tank right now. ;(

They do indeed sell them but they aren't all that great.

You basically get those report bindings... Um, you know the clips? They are flat on one edge, then go triangularly into a clip. Then you get mesh. It can be shelf lining mesh or craft, but it shouldn't be like a cloth, but should be hard with the holes in it. Then cut it to the height/width of your tank, put it into the bindings, and use aquarium silicone to seal it to the sides of the tank.

If you ever want to remove it, AQ silicone is able to come off, just takes some peeling/rubbing/or a razor to pull if off the glass.

If you want to use same filter & heater, I would use a mesh divider with holes. (Pin-point or a bit larger.) If you want a male find one with a more mellow personality who is okay with roommates.

Another option is purchasing another tank. Have you ever checked your local sales listing like Craigslist, thrift stores, discount places, etc? I found a 1.5 gallon tank with the filter at Goodwill for $2. I got my 5 gallon for free from my boyfriend. I have found 10 gallons with heater, filter, hooded light for $20.

If you truly cannot put another tank anywhere and don't have room, I think Walmart sells a 1 gallon tank with the hooded light and filter for like $12. Even 2 gallons are pretty dang tiny space wise. I think PetCo or PetSmart have very basic 2 gallons for $15-ish? You'll have to check their websites, I have forgotten!

I know PetCo sells Kritter Keepers. I got my 3 gallon Kritter Keeper & filter for about $20? It took up minimal space, too, especially compared to 5 gallons.
