It is a different type of wild betta called betta strohi. I've been good, just staying busy taking care of all 8 of my betta tanks. How about you?

Hey many questions. My betta appeared lighter in color when he was sleeping, or am I delusional? Ammonia is still over zero...accck! And he is a voracious eater (and beggar) but I don't want to over feed him. Too many ???'s

Thank you :) When I first started keeping bettas after moving out of my parents house I had NO ONE to offer me advice and i spent so much on time on sketchy websites that gave me contradicting info. I was so happy when I found this forum. I try to give people the advice I would have wanted - accurate, clear, and simple.

not this month :( i forgot to enter on time but I'll enter next months!

Thanks! No, it's a commission I got for a tattoo I'm planning to get. Parents aren't a huge fan of tattoos so even though I'm a legal adult I'm gonna wait till I move out.

Oh, thanks! I was just messing around with my camera, I don't know how to use half the settings.....out of 100 pictures... a few turned out. Even a blind squirrel will find a nut once and awhile. Haha

Manitoba is full of pike! We have so many lakes and rivers. Usually catch them by accident when we're fishing for Walleye.
My husband goes ice fishing every year 8 hours north of where we are (southern manitoba). He caught a master northern pike a month ago, 44 inches! They get huge!
