Yay for other kite-liking people! I'm afraid of fighters, myself, mostly because I live in a highly populated area and don't want to brain somebody. But I love flying the giant deltas. I've got two that are 7' and 9', respectively, that I just adore.

    Thanks for the welcome!

I knew what it was like to be a mere minion when my cat was still alive lol...But flying hawks and falcons sounds pretty amazing. I had a cockatiel for a couple months but I had to rehome him because I ended up being allergic. I was also getting annoyed with him as well to be honest. He was a dominant bird so he would just scream really loud all day long if someone wasn't holdin him. Then when I managed to get him to come out he would chew on my earlobes and try to bite my freckles off...

I don't really know if I'm into lizards; I just have the one. He is pretty boring but I still like him. He sure is good at looking majestic though.

    Hallyx! Hi!

I was wondering, do you keep any other fish besides bettas? Or any other animals for that matter?

So just hold the test tube up un a well lit area and look through the tube rather than puttig the tube against a white surface?

I will try putting a piece of gravel in there, thanks.

Okay, so for the liquid test....Is the actual color of the liquid the result, or the color I see when I hold the test tube right up against the card (touching). Because there is a dramatic difference...The color of the liquid says five....Up against the paper it says ten. Ugh.

    What a prestigious title :)

How do I get a bead in there and what kind of bead do I use?

Are the omega ones what you feed the smaragdina?

Do you have a name for that copper HMPK?

ETA: Ah! I know why you have lower nitrates than I do...You have no chloramines and therefore no ammonia in your source water!
Ah well...10-20ppm nitrate by the end of the week is fine with me and probably fine with my fish, however, 5 would bring much more piece of mind /:

Copper is a very interesting color on a fish. I really like the way he is looking at the camera in the picture ^_^

So basically I am not over feeding....Maybe under feeding? I fast on water change day as well - easier to remember that way...
