My nitrite has been 1ppm last time I checked. I'm waiting a little longer just for an experiment for their survival, (Since you posted, I didn't test just yet) and the last time I dosed ammonia in it took like 3-4 days to go to 0ppm. My ammonia seems to be very well concentrated. I started in the early November, probably the 3rd. I didn't seed the tank either. I should be the one thanking you. ^.^ So, thanks! :D

Perfect! That cut-to-size stuff just seems so convenient/cheap so I'm glad I can use it. I don't know when I'm going to make the switch, but when I do I will let you know. Thanks for your help.

Would filter floss/poly fiber-type material be sufficient for housing a colony of BB?

Okay... It's because my ammonia has been 0ppm for 2 days now so I didn't want them to start dying off. I'm waiting for my nitrite to go to 0ppm and then dose 1 more time for the final cycling procedure.

It's only roots deep and not much at that. I have it rubber banded to a rock for weight and can't decide where I want it yet. ATM it's on the sponge filter. I redid the Subwangertang too cutting down the mesh for smaller squares so i could spread them out a bit. I'll keep posting pics because my Frogbit should arrive the day before him or the day after

Hello Hallyx. I have a question about the ammonia-eating BB. How long can it survive without a source of ammonia? By OFL's thread it stated that the BB will die off in 6 hours due to no oxygen pressure or whatever. But what about it's food source? Thanks!

Yes! That symphony is amazing, I would love to play it some day.
We played Shosta's 1st cello concerto last spring with an amazing soloist who went to our school. We did Rachmaninoff's 2nd last fall with a world famous solo pianist, it was great fun :D The adagio is very beautiful.

Lol, I got the Cryillic alphabet off of google translate xD
