- My Paso is fun...they are an addictive breed!! And yes - smooth and smart too. I've not been out riding in almost a year. Fall is starting to settle in...I passed the February bar exam, been doing the lawyer thing since I swore in back in June. Promised myself (and my horse) a well-fitting saddle as a gift for passing the bar. I'm probably ordering one next month. Time to hit the trails some!
- All we needed her to learn was to pull a small haywagon around my brother's property,...and occassionally logs and branhces. Leader, no reins. And no saddling, so we skipped the hard part. Lucky for us, she was a "sweet" mule. She'd run a mile...or trot briskly...to get an apple, if you tossed one into the air.
Ahhh...a Paso fino. Smooooth and smart. I'm jealous. "Happy trails, to you."~~R. Rogers
Good advice..amen. Goes for just about anything, eh?
- I'm not smart enough for a mule - hahaha. Right now I have a Paso that I like to trail ride with. It's starting to cool off some so that riding will be nice. The horse and I have not ridden in a year - so looking forward to hitting the trails some this fall.
I think fishkeeping gets relaxing after time too - the first time you set up a tank it's pretty nerve wracking. Helps when you have good advice though!
- Love equines. Trained a harness mule 20 years ago. Sorry about your old dog. That's tough.
I remember being tense and afraid of my fish when I first got them. Fishkeeping doesn't get relaxing right away. Does it?
Anyway, although it may seem counterintuitive, the best way to replay here on the backscreen is to click "view conversation" and use that reply field. That way it shows up at my place.
