    found the thread on i have this right-sodium formaldehydebisulfite turns ammo into aminomethanesulfinate. ammonium is ammonia effected by high ph?

    As it turns out, Prime doesn't turn ammonia into ammonia (and back in 24-48 hours) If you got that from me, I'm sorry, I was wrong. It turns ammonia into aminomethanesulfinate. Which degrades back to ammonia by grabbing carbon ions from the water. If you'd like I'll find the thread where we discussed that.
