The 0.25ppm I've actually observed. The 0.1ppm I got from jaysee and other places on the web. I had an overfed very active giant (my avatar) that put out 0.50ppm every 2 days into 4 gallons of water= 1.0ppm/gal/day

Hallyx, I was copying your numbers from a cycling thread I saw ages ago!!! I just did one betta producing 0.05 ppm of ammonia a day, and did the math from there, not taking into account water volume or anything... It was mostly just for dramatic effect XD

Thanks for the reply tip XD

    Hi hyhyty,

I saw where you said, "...if you want some numbers on how fast a fish can poison themselves in a closed environment, I'd be happy to provide them :)"

You know me, I'm interested in that kind of thing. What do you have?

BTW, if you click on View Conversation and use that reply field, I'll get a notification that you have replied. Kind of wierd, but that's how it works.
