I just noticed something urgent..... Her body seems to be..... Fuzzy. There is clear fuzz coming from her body.

Ugh! Maybe you should show him this site one of these days -__-.. I live in a tropical country and I still need heaters for my bettas, they're even more important than a filter according to me.. Why don't you ask for a Kritter Keeper, they're plastic, cheap, light and you can get it in so many sizes! Any betta will be happy :)

Yeah, I'll also convince my dad if I can. The issue is, my dad used to have a tropical fish tank, and now he thinks he knows everything about bettas. He thinks they like 69 degree water. That's why I do the water changes.

That sucks, you should really try and convince her, that tank is just no good and I know you know that.. I hate it when parents don't understand these things.. Try your best!

:( I think you should retire that hanging tank now and get a nice new tank with a heater and filter for your next betta.. I think he/ she will be much happier in something like that. :)

In my room, she was having trouble breathing, so I lowered the water level to two inches. I tried feeding ehr last night and she didn't eat. She couldn't see Sparky in his QT cup.

Where had you kept the QT cup?

No clue, I just woke up and she was on her side at the bottom of the QT cup.
